Untitled-1.jpgWe are a Bulk SMS Provider, we sell text messages to businesses and run text to win campaigns for some of the worlds biggest brands.

Prior to using WhosOff: We used lots and lots of paper, a holiday record sheet for each staff member, a copy for the file, a copy for HR, just endless copies of the same information. To request a holiday you had to complete the form and send it to your manager who would counter sign then pass it to HR who would take copies and distribute them.

"We just wanted something simple, we wanted to get rid of the paper chase, we believe in web applications and WhosOff fitted the bill just perfect"

Creditplus

Feedback provided by: Ben Andrews (Head of IT)  6th September 2010
Website: www.creditplus.co.uk
Our core business is arranging car finance and vehicle supply. We work with an number of mainstream and specialist lenders and provide our customers with vehicles sourced from anywhere in the UK and delivered to their door or chosen from a local dealership.

credit_plus.jpgPrior to using WhosOff we used a paper based system managed by departmental managers and the sick leave was managed by the payroll staff. However this could not provide any easy way of getting a centralised view of holiday booked/taken for all staff. Employees also had doubt regarding remaining entitlement, making the process of booking holiday painful and time consuming. It was also difficult to report on and compare absence.

"We have been using Whosoff since 2007 - flexible, scalable and less complex than other online solutions"

Cullen Kilshaw

Feedback provided by: Ross Kilshaw (New Homes Sales Manager) 14th January 2010
Website: www.cullenkilshaw.com
We a re a Solicitor Estate Agent with town centre offices throughout the Scottish Borders. We specialise in the selling and buying of residential and commercial property, whilst also providing a full range of legal services across our four offices.

cullenkilshaw.jpgBased in four offices on the Scottish Borders with approximately thirty staff, Cullen Kilshaw previously used wall mounted charts in each of their offices to record holidays. In 2008, the staff at each of the offices were not able to relate to leave at the other office locations, the wall charts had become too messy to read and public holidays between the offices had become disjointed.

So a new centralised system was required in order to manage the process and to ensure all staff members were getting equal leave rights, seeking WhosOff through search engines Cullen Kilshaw signed up to use the Free Edition of WhosOff, and have since migrated to the Premium Edition with the results being positive between staff members.

It has been reported that the staff at Cullen Kilshaw find the system easy to use which enables WhosOff to be seen as an asset as happy staff are generally helpful and productive.

"the staff find it easy to use...happy staff are generally helpful and productive"

Website: www.justgiving.com
Online fundraising tools for charitable giving.

As a fundraising tool supplier, Just Giving know how important online tools are for their target audience and the benefit they can supply on a global basis. Based in the UK and USA with approximately fifty employees to manage, an online business application is the perfect answer to a paper based problem that was facing this WhosOff user.

Since October 2007 Just Giving has been making use of WhosOff whereas previously they lodged individual paperwork for each event and member of staff which over time became non-scalable and failed to answer the question "Who is off?" when other staff members asked. At this point in time Just Giving were recommended WhosOff and were attracted by the price, online availability, functionality and the No obligation trial.

justgiving.jpgIn terms of hours and costs saved, WhosOff only saves Just Giving on average two hours per month of time, but the company has reported that the biggest saving has come in the form on hassle factor!

We are very glad to report that Just Giving is very happy with the WhosOff and would definately recommend this service to other businesses, we thank them for their continued use and feedback.

"A great idea and very simple to use"

HobbsParkerLogo.jpgThe Hobbs Parker Group have been using WhosOff to manage approx. 120 employees based over 8 departments in Kent.

Previous to using WhosOff the company made use of paper based forms and post-it notes managed centrally by their office manager, since their office manager retired the company decided it was time to use a more cost effective and efficient system to manage their staff holidays within their business divisions.

Initially finding WhosOff through search enginess, the company were initially one of our Free Edition users who have moved across to the Premium Edition with very successful results, in turn WhosOff has proven to save around 100 man hours per annum in managing the companies leave.

As with all of our users, WhosOff have a good relationship with Roger and his team and have welcomed the feedback they have supplied that has already allowed the system to develop on from some of the suggestions that Roger has put forward.

This caused some efficiency problems for Clearswift so they decided to seek out a new way of managing their leave. The new system would have to be online in order for their leave to be managed from any location in the world.

After being recommended WhosOff by another company, Clearswift were attracted to WhosOff because it was an online system that allowed staff within their six departments to request leave without the need for paper intervention. The ease of use and functionality available within WhosOff has been very popular throughout the company and the "countless hours of admin time" that have been saved with WhosOff can only be seen as a positive for any company.

As a result of the successful implementation of WhosOff within Clearswift, the company have already recommended the service to other business to allow them to feel the benefit that Clearswift have already achieved.

When questioned whether there was any additional comments Sam would like to add she stated:

"Introducing WhosOff to Clearswift was one of the best things I have done!"

Providing quality legal services to the people of Deal since 1890.

clearswiftlogo.jpghardmans_logo.jpgA paper based solution was previously employed at Hardmans Law (based in Deal, Kent, UK), using hand applied calculations to tally staff entitlement.

In early 2007, Peter Styles, legal secretary and marketing administrator sought a solution that would allow the reduction in paper usage whilst making the recording of time easier.

As one of the first adopters of the new Premium Edition of WhosOff, Hardmans Law now benefit from an application that ensures leave processing is down from 2 hours per week to around 10 minutes, a saving in both time and money.

As Hardmans are a small office, every second spent on processes such as leave management are potentially removing the staff from other jobs, WhosOff has proven to save time and money for Peter and his colleagues and the advantages are summed up in a quote from Peter Styles:

"Without WhosOff we wouldn't be able to do half the jobs we can do now"
