Having visited hundreds of companies, only to find HR,
Administrators, company owners,
and managers ALL, wrestling with the same age-old
problem of who can take holiday when and, in the
main, asking themselves Who’s Off? … we felt
it was time to deliver a FREE and simple to use service
online.
WhosOff.com makes easy work of staff holiday planning applying restrictions
between staff
where applicable, application followed by approval
by manager and a transparent view
to all those involved within the organisation online
anywhere.
Where can I use it ?
If you can get online, and browse the web, you and your
staff can book/request holiday/vacation and approvers
can approve or decline. So head office can approve
a remote Office requests, or a department manager
can approve holiday whilst at his/her desk
or away on business. Staff can plan their next vacation/holiday
with their partners from home.
Who’s off? – A
broader view
WhosOff encourages staff to be more considerate in booking
and planning their holiday in
a timely fashion, getting staff to book in advance
and reducing last minute requests.
WhosOff gives the classic holiday planner view by
individual department or whole organisation, making
it easy to see the impact of any holiday request.
Sickness
From time to time we will all have one or two days legitimately
off sick. However, WhosOff
enables you to visibly see the patterns of sickness
across the organisation or for each individual. Therefore
the habitual’ Monday Sickness’ begins
not only to show up to the super-user but also to
the member of staff as well as the ‘Red blocks’ become
only too apparent
to all.
If you set WhosOff to allow
your staff to log sickness for each other, calls
reporting in sick can be logged immediately and an
automatic email will be sent to that member of staffs
approver/notify manager giving early notification
and enabling managers to plan the day where necessary.
Departments
Companies/organisations with perhaps fewer than 12 staff
might prefer not to use departments and view the
company as a whole. Of Course, larger organisations
will always need to see the impact of holiday by department
allowing managers to assess and approve
holiday accordingly.
Who cannot be off with who ?
If you wish, you can set ‘restrictions’ between
any members of staff.
i.e. Tony cannot be off when Alan is off.
The WhosOff system will notify a restriction when
a user initially requests leave, but you
do not have to use this facility if you do not want
to.
National Holidays
As WhosOff is used by many different organisations in
different countries, the system
allows users to indicate their own national holidays/bank
holidays, which will be
recorded to your own individual company/organisation
profile.
These days are not deducted from staff leave entitlement.
Security
WhosOff.com uses secure socket layer (SSL) certification
enabling you to have every confidence in the security of
the site, signified by the padlock icon at the bottom of
your screen.
